Stripe S700 & S710 Terminals

Stripe's new 'all-in-one' card readers are here and they can function as a static or portable donation solution owing to their secure dock with screws to mount into a desktop surface.

The S700 & S710 are currently priced at £229+VAT and the optional dock is £39+VAT*.

They have the following specifications:

A 5.5" screen with gorilla glass to avoid cracks
1920 x 1080 pixel resolution
Battery life: 15 hours (active) / 140 hours (standby) / 2.5 hours to full charge
USB-C port for charging

Connectivity is where the two devices differ:

S700: Wifi, ethernet and offline mode

S710: Cellular (4G), wifi, ethernet and offline mode

Cellular data is not enabled by default on the S710 but can be switched on in your Terminal Location settings within Stripe. This is charged at £7 per month while active.

They function entirely independently and do not need to be paired with a point of sale solution such as a smartphone or tablet. Instead, the GiveTap Payments app runs directly on them and can be installed remotely with support of our team. If you are interested in using this solution please email us on support@givetap.co.uk.

The GiveTap Payments app that runs on both devices and operates in the same way as our iOS and Android apps and allows you to:

Display your logo, header image and colour scheme throughout the donation flow
Display custom donation amounts
Collect Gift Aid details
Send branded email receipts
Track your income raised through the device
Password protect the donation flow so that donors are locked into the donation flow (kiosk mode)
