Stripe S700 Terminal

The S700 is Stripe's new 'all-in-one' card reader that can function as a static or portable donation solution owing to its secure dock with screws to mount into a desktop surface.

The S700 is currently priced at £279+VAT and the dock is £39+VAT*. In addition, Stripe charge £2 per month per active S700. Active in this context means that you have processed at least one donation on the device in that monthly period.

It has the following specifications:

A 5.5" screen with gorilla glass to avoid cracks
1920 x 1080 pixel resolution
Connectivity: wifi / eth / bluetooth for accessories
Battery life: 15 hours (active) / 140 hours (standby) / 2.5 hours to full charge
USB-C port for charging

This device functions entirely independently and does not need to be paired with a point of sale solution such as a smartphone or tablet. Instead, the GiveTap Payments app runs directly on the device and can be installed remotely with support of our team. The GiveTap Payments app that runs on the S700 operates in the same way as our iOS and Android apps and allows you to:

Display your logo, header image and colour scheme throughout the donation flow
Display custom donation amounts
Collect Gift Aid details
Send branded email receipts
Track your income raised through the device
Password protect the donation flow so that donors are locked into the donation flow (kiosk mode)
