Charging VAT on Ticket Sales
What this guide covers: how to charge VAT on tickets you sell through GiveTap.
Who it's for: admins at organisations that need to charge VAT on ticket sales. If you're not sure whether you should charge VAT, check with your finance team or accountant first.
Steps
- In the admin panel, go to Settings > VAT.
- Turn on the toggle 'Collect VAT on purchases'.
Turning it off
To stop collecting VAT, go back to Settings > VAT and turn the toggle off.
Troubleshooting
- I can't see the VAT page: you may not have admin access. Ask an admin in your organisation, or email support@givetap.co.uk.
